Activated Biochar to Increase Soil Productivity and Mitigate Global Warming

Biochar:
Activated biochar produced by the slow burning of wood or other organic matter in a low-oxygen environment and it is also called pyrolysis, biochar is a stable, carbon-rich solid that can endure in soil for thousands of years. It may have the potential to enhance soil fertility and to mitigate climate change by locking carbon into the soil and preventing the release of the carbon back into the atmosphere in the form of carbon dioxide.
